The Shuttle Run measures body control and the ability to change direction (agility) and speed while running between two lines 10 yards apart.
Create two lines 10 yards apart. Place two objects (ie: blocks) on the non-starting line. Begin by placing your front foot behind the starting line. On the signal, "go!" sprint to the opposite line, picks up a block of wood, run back and place it on or beyond the starting line. Then turning without a rest, run back to retrieve the second block and carry it back across the finish line. Use a stopwatch to record your time.
